Crace is a new suburb under development in Canberra. It is named after Edward Crace, an original settler in the Gungahlin area.
Screenmakers produced the internal signage for the Crace Showroom on behalf of Grey Advertising.
The display work undertaken included :
- Crace Internal Acrylic Signage - Wall signs, Masterplan, Renderings & Crace Cafe
The signage produced on the walls of the Crace Display Centre was made from 6mm clear acrylic with the artwork printed onto adhesive vinyl that was then face mounted to the back of the acrylic using a special "wet" process. This method of production uses an applicating liquid that allows the printed material to be "floated" onto the acrylic and then squeegeed to remove excess liquid and air bubbles. The acrylic signs then had their edges polished and were fixed to the plasterboard walls using silver anodised standoffs (25mm off the wall). This process delivers a crystal clear display that can only impress!
